An initial garden consultation is a vital first step in the garden design process. The best way to do this is for our leading designer to visit your home to discuss your priorities and needs and understand your specific garden challenges. This includes your thoughts on how you want the garden to work for you, how you will use the space and an idea of your budget.
As part of this consultation, we can assess the current condition of your garden, this includes an assessment of the soil quality, identifying the sunlight and shady areas, and a review of the existing vegetation. Some of the outdoor spaces we view will be a blank canvas and are approached in the same way before recommendations are presented.
To create a detailed design plan, measurements will be taken, and photographs taken to help in this process. The consultation is also a great opportunity for you to ask any questions and tell us what you particularly like or dislike in a garden. Based on this visit our designer will use all the information to draft a bespoke plan for your garden.
