GardenScope is owned by Richard Penfold, the lead designer with over 30 years of experience in the landscaping industry. He has worked extensively on residential and commercial projects, acquiring the knowledge to ensure he can handle a diverse range of garden design challenges.
Starting his landscape career at just 15 years old, he reinforced his hands-on approach by studying horticulture, landscape technology, arboriculture, and garden design at college. His accomplishments include multiple Gold awards at prestigious garden shows such as the RHS Chelsea Flower Show, a testament to his ability to deliver exceptional and visually captivating gardens.
Richard’s professional standing is reflected in his previous role as Director of Red Sky Landscapes. Additionally, he was a committee member of the Association of Professional Landscapers, reflecting his respect and recognition within the industry.
